10 Movies That Didn’t Need a Sequel

There are way more than 10 movies that didn’t need a sequel, and the reason is simple. The first movie was good the way it was.
Avatar
James Cameron was already reaching for the stars again when people were still watching this movie for the second and third time. It’s interesting to think of how things will develop with a few more sequels.
Rocky
Some people would disagree since at least a few of the sequels were worth the effort. But honestly, ending Rocky with one movie would have been enough.
The Terminator
Yes, the second movie was iconic. But ending this movie on a single note would have still made it stand out in the public’s memory.
Conan the Barbarian
Conan went on to be a great comic and book series, and that might have been enough. The second movie was kind of meh, even though it had its great parts.
The Fast and The Furious
This franchise has gone on for way too long, no matter what fans want to say. Not only has it taken a group of car thieves and turned them into spies, but it’s hyped the original story way too much.
Poltergeist
The sequels weren’t horrible, but the ending to the first one made it feel that it could have stood on its own. How many times did one family need to fight against the same ghosts?
Starship Troopers
Did you even know there were sequels to this movie? Since it was left wide open, it was bound to happen.
Rambo
A lot of diehard fans wouldn’t be too happy to think that the first movie should have ended the story. But when all is said and done, Rambo’s story was better off as a single movie.
Jeepers Creepers
The Creeper somehow gained a lot of popularity after the first movie. But honestly, he’s still not as interesting as people want to believe.
30 Days of Night
The mystery of the vampires in this movie was best kept unknown. But, of course, someone had to go and make a sequel to ruin the mystery.
