10 of The Greatest Vampire Movies

Trying to pin down 10 of the greatest vampire movies is difficult, to say the least. There is a lot to pick from
Dracula

I want to say it’s the Bela Lugosi version, but Gary Oldman’s performance in 1992 was tough to argue with. Keanu Reeves didn’t do the movie justice, but at least Anthony Hopkins was there to bolster his part.
The Lost Boys

This movie was just a lot of fun since it featured modern-day vampires who were just like anyone else. It was campy in many ways, but at the time, it was awesome.
Interview with the Vampire

This movie was perfect for those who love the romantic side of vampirism. Anne Rice knew what she was doing when she wrote this story.
Twilight

Who would have ever thought that vampires would experience teenage angst? Say what you will about this movie, but it was pure gold when it hit the screen.
From Dusk Till Dawn

Many people still don’t know much about this movie, but it was one of Clooney’s best since he got to portray a badass. Not only that, but it had a great cast to back him up.
Underworld

The details were a little vague for a while, but the action in this movie was great. It was also interesting to see werewolves manhandle vampires.
Blade

The Marvel universe doesn’t credit Blade enough for being one of the first big films that took the viewers on a trip to the franchise’s underbelly. The action was great, and the acting was decent.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Nostalgia is a big reason why this movie still holds up. Not only that, but the fact that the late Luke Perry was in it, along with Paul Reubens, is worth noting.
Nosferatu

This movie was just creepy—there’s not much else to say. But it upped the ante of the vampire movie, and that alone makes it great.
Vampires

Did you ever expect to see James Woods in a vampire movie? He was entertaining to watch, and the movie was satisfying by the end.
