15 Women Who Could Play Aloy in a Live Adaptation of Horizon: Zero Dawn

There are at least 15 women who could play Aloy in a live adaptation of Horizon: Zero Dawn. The popular video game needs a convincing heroine, and several women could take on the role.
Rose Leslie
Apart from being a natural redhead, she has the kind of attitude that makes her perfect for this role. She might need to bulk up just a little, but not much.
Florence Pugh
Pugh has the kind of build that makes her a perfect fit for Aloy. Plus, she’s already been involved in several projects showcasing her moves, so it’s a simple pick.
Scarlett Johansson
The only thing that might keep this choice from happening is that Scarlett could possibly age out of the role. Many people might think that no, this can never happen, but it’s the only natural barrier to her taking the role.
Hera Hilmar
Don’t get on my case too hard, but Hera is a basic individual who could be made into this character without much effort. Along with that, she’s a very fit individual who could pull off Aloy’s appearance.
Hannah Hoekstra
Honestly, she would be perfect, and for one reason alone. She’s Aloy’s voice in the games, and she could rock the look without an issue.
Karen Gillan
Watch the new Jumanji movies, and see why Karen is a great choice. Seriously, she knows how to rock an action scene.
Becky Lynch
Picking ‘The Man’ to take on this role would be great since she’s not that big of a person, like Aloy, and she’s all go no quit. Her accent might be the only issue, but that’s kind of a non-issue, in all honesty.
Rosa Salazar
Her action sequences in Alita: Battle Angel might have been chiefly CG, but it’s still impressive enough to think she could nail this role. Also, Aloy has a certain level of innocence to her that Salazar could work with.
Samara Weaving
Samara is not the first choice since she’s played some very nutty characters. But she’s a fun actress to watch when the situation calls for it and could make it work.
Sadie Sink
It might be interesting to see Max from Stranger Things take on this role, but it might make more sense to see her as a younger version of Aloy.
Sophia Lillis
Ever since her appearance in It and Dungeons and Dragons, Lillis has made it clear that she can act and amaze the fans. While she hasn’t been that forceful yet, there’s not much doubt that she could take this role and run with it.
Daisy Ridley
Her time as Rey in Star Wars divided the fans, but she’s still a great actress. In all fairness, seeing her as a redhead would be interesting.
Angourie Rice
In many ways, she comes off as someone Aloy might meet in the game, not the hardened Nora Scout. But still, she could assume this role.
Katherine McNamara
Turning a blond into a redhead for a role is exciting since it’s almost like creating a new person. Her demeanor makes it clear that she can play a hardened warrior.
Emma Roberts
She’s not the perfect pick, especially since many of the parts she’s played portray her as a woman who doesn’t fight. But it would be interesting to see if she could take this role.
