The 10 Favorite X-Men

The 10 favorite X-Men selected by fans, both old and new, often change, but some entries remain the same for a long time.
Wolverine
Since his appearance in The Incredible Hulk, his popularity has continued to build. These days, too much introspection has kind of dampened his character, but he’s still one of the most famous X-Men ever.
Cyclops
Despite being the uptight and stiff leader of the X-Men, Cyclops is still a famous individual. He has many tactical skills and can match or overcome many challenges that should be impossible.
Storm
Her initial run in the comics didn’t see her as the most outstanding team member, but Storm has reached goddess level over time for many reasons. As one of the most powerful mutants around, her status is well-deserved.
Jean Grey/Phoenix
She should probably rate higher on this list, but Jean’s reservations about using her powers make her drop a few slots. But when paired with the Phoenix, she’s nearly unstoppable and might be, if not for her strong moral character.
Rogue
Early on, she wasn’t given a lot of respect, but Rogue was a powerhouse on the team. Plus, the fact that she can absorb just about anyone’s power makes her a very dangerous adversary.
Nightcrawler
Despite being a very good-natured and highly religious character who doesn’t like to hurt people, Kurt Wagner is still a valuable asset to the team. His acrobatics, swordplay, and incredible appearance have made him one of the most popular X-Men ever.
Professor X
He’s done plenty of shady things, but Charles Xavier is still a fan favorite. His ability to see both sides of a conflict makes him valuable, but the ability to shut down the minds of so many people at once is impressive.
Gambit
Many people love this character because he’s been a villain and a hero, and his charming nature is hard to dislike. His powers are also quite impressive, as he can charge almost anything with kinetic force, making him a real danger to his enemies.
Jubilee
For a while, it felt like Jubilee didn’t get enough credit. But her dynamic with Wolverine and a few other characters helped her finally win over the fans and become a favorite character.
Colossus
For a while, he was simply a giant, metallic powerhouse who could bash his way through many things and take on insanely powerful enemies. However, as time progressed, Colossus became an integral part of the team and someone much more than he appeared to be.
