10 Best Bill Murray Movies

Some might argue that the 10 best Bill Murray movies typically display his comedic talents. But it’s always up for debate.
Stripes
John Winger was a guy without a purpose or direction until he and his buddy Russell joined the US Army. Of course, that was nearly a huge mistake.
Ghostbusters
Watching Murray take on the role of Peter Venkman made it evident that this was just Bill playing around. Seeing him in the recent movies has been fun.
Caddyshack
Oh yes, Carl the groundskeeper, the scourge of groundhogs. He would be if he weren’t blowing up half of the golf course in the process.
Groundhog Day
Imagine reliving the same day repeatedly. Many people would take advantage of it after a while, especially if no one else remembers what happened the day before.
What About Bob?
It is saddening that there are people in the world with these many issues. But Bob’s ability to overcome most of his issues was amazing and hilarious.
Scrooged
As a Christmas movie, this was one of Murray’s best since it was out of control. Some might call it out for several things still deemed okay back then, but it’s still a great movie.
St. Vincent
As an older actor, he’s still great, especially as the grumpy neighbor. Watching him try to teach a young boy how to get by in the world is hilarious.
Little Shop of Horrors
His role was brief but memorable. While most people don’t like going to the dentist anyway, his character loved it with a weird passion that many people couldn’t help laughing at.
Rushmore
This was an oddball movie because it was funny in a weird sort of way but also kind of pathetic in a lot of scenes. But it was still Murray doing his thing.
Kingpin
Bill Murray can play a jerk like no other. But as Big Ern, he was the epitome of a slimeball, and he helped make the movie something hilarious and ridiculous in a good way.
