10 Greatest Extreme Sports

The 10 greatest extreme sports will keep you on your toes while watching. They might even make you want to see if you can participate.
Free Solo Climbing
This has been showcased in movies, and it looks like a thrill. It also looks like a long fall, but it’s extreme for a reason.
Parkour
Also known as free running with a few minor differences, Parkour has been a sensation for a while now. It’s not the easiest sport, and instructors won’t always show you how to do the jumps and moves right, but it is impressive.
BASE Jumping
It’s not like skydiving since the average BASE jump will start from a stationary location, while skydiving involves jumping from a moving aircraft. Oh, and there is that little thing about BASE jumping being a little more dangerous.
Cave Diving
It’s just what it sounds like, and according to those who practice it, it’s a rush. But it’s not for the faint of heart or those afraid of the water.
Ice Climbing
Take climbing, add a slippery factor to it, and you’ll be close to what this sport is about. Think about climbing a vertical surface that’s cold as hell and will gladly dump you off if you make a mistake.
Surfing
As popular as it’s become over many years, surfing is still extreme since anything can happen. Most surfers want to know as much about the beach they’re going to surf as they can, but that doesn’t make it any less extreme.
Bungee Jumping
The point is to have fun and be safe, but things can happen. If you want the rush, though, it’s an activity that you can get into without too much effort.
Hang Gliding
This requires a lot more finesse and a great deal of practice. You’ll also need to have at least a moderate understanding of how to steer and catch those updrafts or leave them alone.
Skydiving
People skydive at various ages, and some do it to cross an item off a bucket list. But whatever age you are when you jump out of a plane, it’s said to be a thrill you won’t forget.
White Water Rafting
Don’t think this isn’t extreme just because you’re in the water. There are plenty of sharp rocks in those rivers that make this trip treacherous beyond belief. But hey, have fun.
