10 Reasons Why the MCU and DC Should Crossover

There are at least 10 reasons why the MCU and DC should crossover. Several of them focus on who could beat who in a fight.
People want to see how their favorite heroes would fare against each other
There’s already been a lot of speculation across many different platforms. Marvel and DC fans want to see who would win in a fight.
Pitting two different universes against each other is an interesting idea
This would be an epic meeting of minds in many people’s eyes. It also feels way overdue to a lot of fans.
It’s already been done in the comics
In this case, it’s all about the writers and who gets the upper hand for one reason or another. But it’s fair to say that DC and Marvel suffered losses and gained wins in equal measure.
The reason behind the crossover could become a great story
Again, this was established in the comics, but it feels like it might take on a new life in a movie. One can only hope that it would be natural and sensible.
Creating a multiversal crossover sounds profitable
If done correctly and not as a chance to discredit or build up one side or the other, this crossover could generate a great deal of revenue. But again, it does need to be treated with kid gloves.
The wealth of great actors would help this event become even more impressive
It would be intriguing to see who could be tapped for each role since some individuals might not want to return. But then again, it could be a revival that would generate much interest among many actors.
Fans have been wanting this for a long time
That’s an understatement. In all honesty, fans would have loved to see this decades ago.
Pitting characters such as Batman, Wolverine, Superman, and others against each other is interesting
There is a vast difference between many heroes and villains in both universes. Bringing them together to see how they would fare against each other is a question in each fan’s mind.
It would create a great challenge for many writers
Great things come from a significant challenge. Hopefully, no one would be looking to spite the fans and would give them their best effort.
The better question is: why not?
Right now, it’s impossible since no one can decide whether to do it. But again, what would be the harm?
