10 Grossest Horror Movies

Many people don’t want to deal with the 10 grossest horror movies, while some don’t agree which ones deserve the title. But these 10, whoa.
The Human Centipede
When you understand what the doctor was trying to do, it’s hard not to shudder. But the fact that it was made in the first place suggests a deranged mind that just felt the need to let something like this out.
Terrifier
In truth, this movie feels like something created by someone who loves gore. Art was deranged, that’s for sure, but his penchant for violence feels purer than most.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
As goofy as this movie was, some of the scenes were rather gross. Thankfully, the ridiculous nature of it made up for the gross-outs.
Wrong Turn
Imagine having to hide in a room or somewhere else while you watch a deranged, mutated hillbilly chop up one of your friends. Not only that, but finding a refrigerator filled with body parts is just yuck.
The Fly
Jeff Goldblum’s character’s transformation into the fly was messy. From vomiting acidic spit to losing pieces of himself every day, it just got gnarlier.
The Thing
The practical effects in this movie were amazing since the alien was made to look unstoppable and absolutely terrifying. Plus, the doc losing his hands to the gaping maw? Classic.
Hostel
You wouldn’t think this would make the list this easily, but there are several reasons it did. For one, the scene in which a young woman has her eye burned out is brutal. Not only that, but a guy eating his victim bit by bit was gut-churning.
Cannibal Holocaust
One has to wonder why anyone would go seeking a cannibal tribe without plenty of backup. But at the movie’s end, it’s revealed that the cannibals weren’t necessarily the bad guys.
Night of the Living Dead
The old-school, black-and-white version is decidedly gross since it goes where movies of today only tread lightly. The ripping of flesh and the blood-and-guts gore that was simple but effective is still enough to get to some people.
The Midnight Meat Train
Clive Barker can tell a story just as great as anyone, and this movie proves it. To be fair, there are a lot of questions, but it’s still a blood-and-guts movie that delivers the desired gore.
