Celebrity Deaths in 2024 (So Far)

Regrettably, there have been more than a few celebrity deaths in 2024 (so far). It’s bound to happen, but it’s respectful to take note.

Carl Weathers

Apollo Creed, Action Jackson, and even his role in The Mandalorian were great. Let’s not forget that he did try to take on the Predator, even if he lost. But the man was a great actor and a lot of fun to watch.

Toby Keith

Toby’s no-nonsense attitude allowed him to be seen as one of the greatest country singers of his time. It’s fair to say he left us too soon, but he’ll be fondly remembered for a long time.

Bernard Hill

His career spanned from the 1970s to his passing, but those of us who were born in the 1970s or later probably remember him for his iconic roles, such as King Theoden in LoTR. He was also in The Ghost and The Darkness.

Dabney Coleman

The funny man who appeared in many movies and on TV was a treasure and a pleasure to watch. With a long career and plenty of successes under his belt, it was still sad to see him go.

Louis Gossett Jr.

If you’ve ever watched Diggstown, you’ll know why he’s great. If that’s not enough, sit down and watch An Officer and A Gentleman, where he stars alongside Richard Gere.

Richard Lewis

Much of his humor was dark and self-deprecating, but it was funny. His role as King John in Robin Hood: Men in Tights is classic.

O.J. Simpson

People will forever say what they want about O.J., but he had a successful run as an NFL player and actor. Unfortunately, his name will forever be marred by the murders that he was put on trial for.

Steve Lawrence

As a popular singer and actor, he was one of the best in the business. His cameo in The Blues Brothers might jog the memory of many people as to how great he was.

Donald Sutherland

From his younger years to The Hunger Games, he was the type of actor who could play a great villain or an introspective hero. But no matter what role he played, Donald was an excellent actor.

Gary Graham

It’s fair to say that many people might not remember Gary. But he was a big part of the Alien Nation TV show, and he did star in several movies.
